Whenever i'm on my computer the forums work then crash a short time later and the game doesn't let me connect to the master server.

@FoOloOse
Is this a bitfighter crash? Or a forums problem?

Yea, ever since the move, the fourms havnt been working the way they should. Like the "log me in automatically upon each visit" botton dosnt work, and when I'm logged in and click "fourms" at the top of the page, it usually logs me out. It's really annoying.

The forums bring up errors and bitfighter doesn't let me connect to the master.

@BlackBird
Clear your browser cache - you probably have something left behind from the old server

I have the same odd issue with the "log me in automatically button." I didn't really care about it at first, but I noticed I had to actually login sometimes. It seems it doesn't automatically log me in the forums when I just started my computer; however, afterwards it usually works. I use windows and Blackbird uses Ipod and maybe a Mac...so it's probably the master server. The issue might be bigger on Macs than PCs.

Sorry won't do it. I have many accounts/passwords saved. Plus I can endure my little problem of login. Just FYI, it ONLY saves BotFighter name, instead of Cleverbot...thought yall should know that.
Re: Forum and master problems since server move on 016 relea
You can probably selectively delete which cookies. Find the bitfighter.org-related ones and remove them.
Re: Forum and master problems since server move on 016 relea
...and your browser's cache isn't necessarily the same thing as the cookies that store login information. Cached data is more typically local copies of files so your computer doesn't have to download them each time.
Re: Forum and master problems since server move on 016 relea
So far I deleted everything but cookies and it didn't do anything. Gonna try to figure out how to delete one specific cookie in chrome....
OKAY. I deleted two bitfighter cookies...nothing happened. I think it's the master server or my screwed up account.

Just as an experiment, try using a different browser. I had some issues with firefox, used internet explorer with zero problems, went back to firefox, cleared my cache, and I'm good to go.

- At the bottom of Safari's settings screen, tap the buttons for Clear Cookies and Clear Cache.
- To confirm, tap Clear Cookies or Clear Cache again.
To clear history:

@karamazovapy: yea, as soon as raptor said this, I knew what he ment. I need to clear my milk and cookies.
Edit: I cleared my milk and cookies, logged in, and as soon as I hit the "fourm" button, it logged my out.

Re: Forum and master problems since server move on 016 relea
I have the same problem on bitfighter.net not being able to stay logged in, but the problem is gone when using http://bitfighter.org/forums (using .org instead of .net), might be a server side cookie problem in this forum.
Re: Forum and master problems since server move on 016 relea
Logging in and staying logged in even when I leave all works perfectly fine for me. And I'm guessing most other forum users. So it's not the master. It's your machine.

There have been some quirks, though. The forums have seemed sluggish to me since the transition.
Re: Forum and master problems since server move on 016 relea
i have no trouble staying logged in. have a cup noodles.
Hee-ho!
Re: Forum and master problems since server move on 016 relea
I just use the .org fourms now.

Oh you mean you haven't been using .org? Oh. Oh.
