new description for Bitfighter

right now it's
Bitfighter is a fast-paced team-based outer-space multi-player combat game. There are many game modes and unique maps. Players can (and do) create maps by using the built-in map editor. Space exploration for warfare, construction, and beyond! It's fast, fun, and frenetic.

I think most of these words are unnecessary and this description ends up giving false expectations. unnecessary or misleading in red, mainstays in blue. Questionable in orange.

I'm not a good speaker, but
1. It's not really a space game. more arcade game which is fine.
2. construction and beyond? :?:
3. Many game modes and maps.. on pleiades. The game itself is bare bones to a fault
4. no mention of coding or playing with robots, I've had fun coding and playing with ForceBots and Drones. big barrier to prospective players who open the game once and aren't really playing for hours.
--honestly s_bot sucks and it took me a while to learn about the other bots. If I didn't have a voracious need to learn and look up a lot of things I might never have found out about bo
5. No mention that you control a ship called a Bitfighter, or what to expect besides combat, multi player and space. lots of combat.
some of these I won't comment.
Play my new level! Two different teams fight over a nexus: One mainly defends while the other attacks! is fun

Re: new description for Bitfighter

5: A bitfighter ship is called a bip. This was established in the bitfighter fanfic, which means its canon.

4: Indeed coding is a huge part of our game. Coding and level making are the biggest aspects currently, with competition being very low on the totem pole.

As for everything else: Its kind of hard to make a description for our game. We do a lot of different things and don't really focus on anything. Programming training, mapmaking creativity, scripting, social, competition, community... The description could maybe use a rewrite, but we have no real "best feature" to emphasize. Perhaps "Bitfighter does everything!" is our best bet.

Re: new description for Bitfighter

I agree that I don't really like the description. The only part I insist on keeping is the first part of the first sentence:

Bitfighter is a fast-paced team-based outer-space ...
Other than that, bring on the suggestions!

Bitfighter -- the fast-paced team-based outer-space multi-player arcade game. Blast your friends, kill your enemies. Steal their flags and nuke their cores. Customize your ship to be sneaky, or overwhelm with superior firepower. Bitfighter is fast, fun, and frenetic.

I'm not sure a change was necessary but this definitely sounds better.
