Re: Julgust Level Design Contest Theme

We currently have a whopping TWENTY levels for the contest server. Eight will be contest eligible.

If you've got a submission and you haven't sent it to me yet, get on it!

Re: Julgust Level Design Contest Theme

I have just got one of my newly made level in a contest. That should add one more to contest eligible levels.

I can see a possible problem with too many non-contest level with a few contest levels mixed together in one server. Too many non contest levels in a server may reduce chance of seeing or playing levels that are actually in a contest. Maybe others and me might not know which levels are in a contest for voting, until voting starts. Might want to tell us which level is vote eligable

If you post a level on the forums with your name on it, then your map is no longer anonymous. If you upload your map to a public server with your name on it, then your map is no longer .
If you upload your map to a public server without your name on it, it stays anonymous, then will that make your map voting eligible or not?

Well it'd still be anonymous, but I started hosting level design contests to encourage people to make cool *new* levels. If the levels really stay anonymous and the designers don't go bragging about their work, I guess I'll take those submissions in the future...provided they were made *for* the contest and I'm not just getting old levels that more or less happen to fit the theme.
