Nickname in .ini on Linux

Can anyone confirm (either positively or negatively) whether adding the "Nickname=" line to the .ini file on linux machines allows you to skip the login screen the way it should?

Just tried it. It works great!

Maybe I should read that INI file more.

Hi smitux. Welcome!

The INI is found at $HOME/.bitfighter/bitfighter.ini

So, if your linux user name is 'smitux' then the INI is found at:

/home/smitux/.bitfighter/bitfighter.ini
