When is the next Bitfighter?!

I really want to know when the next bitfighter is being released. They said December 2011.

We sadly didn't make our goal to have it released in December; too many bugs left from migrating the code base to a new framework (SDL.)

The good news is that we have solely dedicated (almost) our time to bugs instead of new features now, so that means we're in the home stretch!

That December estimate was really an end-of-december estimate. I'm guessing it's been put off by about a full month?

It's a waste of time to put out a new release if it doesn't work the way it should.

Huge swaths of Bitfighter have been rewritten; in most cases, this has not resulted in new functionality, but rather ease of adding enhancements in the future. There will be a lot of things that just "work better" in subtle ways (like using the mouse wheel in the editor).

We're pushing hard to get 016 out the door, then will follow with one or more quick releases focusing on bug fixes and a small number of new features.

So, it's coming. There's several of us working (nearly) every night on this.

Oh, and to complicate things further, we're moving the website and master servers to a new location (first move ever), so that is adding considerably to our workload.

Well, the Title and the first 3 post of this thread did not say which version will be the next Bitfighter. Some people just keep posting here asking when is the next version of Bitfighter.

Right at this date of this post, the current released version is 017, next version will be 018. The only questing is, as the title says, "When is the next Bitfighter?!"
