Bitfighter v018a Bugs

First bug! i cant log in because the pop up informing me of the update will not allow me to enter and play the stupid game! Even after i update to 018a, it will still insist that i update to v018a!! and no, the "remind me later" and the "skip this update" buttons do not work, because if they did, chances are i would not have posted this.

Re: Bitfighter v018a Bugs

What platform?

I suspect that you are running a beta version that I gave Little_Apple. If this is the case, then I bet the versioning is wrong somehow.

Try to command+tab to the appropriate window.

I will investigate...

I found the problem. I will yank the new Mac builds for now. I should get a fix out by tonight.

I updated but it still asked to update...

I figured not to report it because it would be fixed anyway.

Re: Bitfighter v018a Bugs

If anyone has downloaded the Mac package before now, please re-download it. The other one was broken.

Pardon me, but how the heck is that even remotely related to this topic?

I really don't know.

You could download Bitifghter for mac anytime, even before this was released.

Re: Bitfighter v018a Bugs

I found a massive bug, and I have no idea how it's possible. During my level editor, somebody managed to join the game with me. I forgot who, but they managed to play. They could talk, move, shoot, ect. Is this a common issue? Or am I just the odd one out?

Re: Bitfighter v018a Bugs

When you test a level it hosts a temporary server that anyone can join. You can keep people from joining by setting a connection password in the "host game" menu.

Re: Bitfighter v018a Bugs

Alternatively, you can use the /setserverpass [pass] command in-game.
