Hi,

I just heard Windows 10 came out. Does anyone happen to have it installed and know if Bitfighter runs OK on it?

Thanks!

I don't have it yet but I will be getting it (for free yay) so I'll let you know when it's installed.

Hi, I just recently got the game, and although this is an old thread I felt it's probably the right one to post my troubles in. I'm using windows 10 and the 64 bit version of 019e, and the game keeps crashing; more than once every 7 minutes or so. I can't seem to locate any log file that I could post to help with determining the issue, though. If anyone could help me figure out how to get a crash log, that'd be much appreciated!

Open run, type in %appdata%, open the Bitfighter folder and open the bitfighter.log file :)

I had actually checked there, but there's literally no information about the crash. This is all that is in the file:
  Code:
------ Bitfighter Log File ------
2 joystick(s) detected:
1.) Autodetect string = "XInput Controller #1"
2.) Autodetect string = "XInput Controller #2"
Using joystick 1 - XInput Controller #1
Client connecting to master [IP:209.148.88.166:25955]
Client established connection with Master Server
IP:209.148.88.166:28002 - connected to server.
IP:209.148.88.166:28002 - client "Isera" disconnected.
IP:209.148.88.166:28001 - connected to server.

Hi,

If there is a crash window that pops up, with some sort of stack trace, you can post that here.

In the mean-time, you can try the 32bit version. Also, it might be a graphics card or driver issue. In the past, there have been reports of older ATI/AMD cards with old drivers crashing.

I don't recall any error messages that would have given me a stack trace; just a generic windows one, sadly. I have an nvidia graphics card; it could be that GTX9xx cards have issues too but I wouldn't know for sure.

I'll try using the 32 bit version and see if that helps.

EDIT: It seems that the 32 bit version is indeed much more stable.

With a heavy heart and great sadness, I have to announce I may be installing Win10 on at least one of my machines. Perhaps I'll be able to reproduce the problem there.

Windows 10 isn't that bad.....

Its probably a graphics driver problem cause I have windows 10 and no issues with bitfighter.
