AHHHHHHHHHH

I know this might be a small problem (well 2) but:

First of all can someone put a button that lets your browser remember you password and username for the FORUM. I tried to check log in automatically and it doesn't do anything.

Second of all since now I am using windows for Bitfighter playing there are a few bugs.

1: Sometimes the main menu music stops playing after leaving a server

2: Sometimes when joining a server or quitting, It crashes.

I have Windows XP 3 gb ram pentium 4 (old haha)

Hi,

Answers to your many comments/questions:

Fordcars wrote:I tried to check log in automatically and it doesn't do anything.

This works OK for me. Probably your browser has some blocking put in or it clears the cache/cookies on exit.

Fordcars wrote:1: Sometimes the main menu music stops playing after leaving a server

2: Sometimes when joining a server or quitting, It crashes.

For both of these issues, I need more data. Specifically, what would help is to have exact steps to duplicate on a consistent basis.

Also, if you could test with the latest code (since I think you have some development knowledge) then we can see if the bugs are still there. Lots of changes have occurred since 017b.

Re: AHHHHHHHHHH

Ok... I guess I should check cookies and cache but it was doing the same thing on my mac. For the bugs, on this computer, I don't have mercurial, and python (or maybe I do). I guess I could pull on my mac and copy/paste the debugger.exe in an email, dropbox, usb key or something. Or maybe getting mercurial would be simpler. But I don't know much about coding on windows. How do you get a console I am desperate.

The "Log in automatically" only works for me when using http://bitfighter.org, not bitfighter.net.

Re: AHHHHHHHHHH

Yes I know but this was more for my classic PPC and eventually other people who will play with a browser that can't remember. But somehow this time it remembered my info!

Re: AHHHHHHHHHH

Get a copy of Tortoise Hg, and Visual C++ Express Edition (both free); download the code using Tortoise, and it should be very easy to build with VC++.
