my personal stance on new features

Because an entire range of new ideas fall under this heading and there's no need for me to comment on them individually, I thought I'd make the following blanket statement:

I've been playing this game since 2004. I like it a lot. I'm not really interested in feature suggestions that will significantly change existing levels and gameplay. Additions to the game that increase strategy and emphasize skill over potential abuse are more interesting to me.

If you have an idea that has the potential to change gameplay on most existing maps, or that seems to invite abuse, just assume I'm not really going to be into it. That doesn't mean it won't get into the game, just that I'm not going to argue in favor of it.

In the name of simplicity, this post should suffice for all future feature threads I ignore.

I have similar feelings, though I like to give suggestion on each long written and thought out post, just for making the effort to bring up the idea, and not just constantly blabbering to me about it in the game.

I like the idea of achievements.
I dislike the idea of mecha ship exoskeletons.
I like the idea of in-game script triggers for dynamic levels.
I dislike the idea of one-hit-kill weapons.
