Prevent Kill Stealing

PREVENT KILL STEALING

I made 2 opinions
Normally In Bitmatch (or sometimes in rabbit), Its you against some other players, and when you are chasing someone, damage it at a 90%, make him lose all its energy, and then he escapes from you, But then, some other player comes, kills him and gets the points for him.
So i realized something
1st opinion-
Give 2 Points for a normal kill.
Give 1 point for players that assist, but if one gets assisted, give him 1 point, not 2
If you dont undersand, its 2v1, if me and... FoOtlose kill a bot, we both get one point, but if only me kills the bot, i get 2 points
.
Max 2 points per kill, that means, only one player is count for the assist, so then everyone would shoot a player to get 10 points each, but only the person that assist more gets the point.
OR
Another think could be to award points to the player who damages the enemy more.

some other think i tought was to display the points earned my the other player by pressing TAB

I know it could be HARD to code, but its just a suggestion

Or - and I don't want to blow anybody's mind with this - we give credit to the player who actually makes the kill.

Re: Prevent Kill Stealing

No!!!! NO!!!!! NO!!!!! Kill stealing requires skill and tactics, just like committing suicide to spawn faster. It requires a bit of intelligence and skill to produce an effective tactical plan to accomplish the goal of the game: TO WIN!!!

The Skill OF Kill Stealing is needed in most games to be able to have more resources than the enemies in order to become more powerful to accomplish the goal of the game: TO WIN!!!

Re: Prevent Kill Stealing

Kill stealing annoys other players (and sometimes LOTS of them) and just makes one happy, its really annoying you actually dmg a player 90% of his life, then a rondom bullet comes to steal your work, its annoying because you spend all your energy and sometimes health for a rondom burst that comes to ks (kill steal) your points.
When you actually fire a random bouncer and kills some one, you had luck, but if you actually Kill steal, its kind of un-fair.
This is my opinion by the way.

If everything was perfectly fair it would be boring. Very boring.

I think you may be confusing "fair" with "equal". If everything was equal, then yup, it would be terrible. But fair doesn't take into account skill level. So you would still have pros and newbies, but the newbies wouldn't be completely doomed.

Re: Prevent Kill Stealing

What I mean by fair is that everything is so equal that skill would not even matter so eventually everything would end in a stalemate. thus, making the game crud.

Re: Prevent Kill Stealing

The best way to prevent kill stealing is to finish the job and actually make the kill.

Re: Prevent Kill Stealing

Actually, when I find others starting to take my kills, I simply lay back, and do the same. Evolve or die.
