New Rabbit Score Sytem.

I think the rabbit score system should change the point of rabbit is to run away from other people as long as possible however the current system is flawed.
Right now you get 5 points for a kill and a default 1 point per second I believe the problem with this is it rewards players for shooting other players more then running away as a result the rabbit game mode take the following format.
Spawn >> Grab Flag >> Desrtroy ships >> Get destroyed >> Spawn.....
No running involved.
I htink it should be default 0 points per kill and say 5 points per second or maybe 1 point per kill and 10 points per second. ( The point being running away is rewarded more than fighting.)
this might make Rabbit more enjoyable and playable.
What do you think should the score system be changed ?

I think running away and hiding in a corner is the absolute worst way to play Rabbit. You get more points for killing people than you do for simply holding the flag because it's an actual risk. More risk means more reward. That's how the game is supposed to work.
If all you do is run away in rabbit then you're playing it wrong.

Funnily, it makes me think of Halo -- Oddball (amgine's desired behavior) or Juggernaut (current Rabbit).

True dat. Doesn't need one in Bitfighter as far as I can tell.
My GT is quartzlcc. What's yours' so I don't reject it on principle?

PSS Assassinating is my favorite thing to do and I'm hella bomb at it too

Stay on topic!
But running away is the point of Rabbit the game description is " Hold onto the flag as long as you can" not "Shoot as many other ships as you can while holding a flag"
Thats the point of rabbit is everyone has to work together To get the person that is it not work individualy which I feelthe current system promotes.

Running away is not the point of Rabbit. Surviving is. In what survival game do you only run away all the time without ever fighting back?
Plus if all you did was run away Rabbit would be boring.
It wouldn't be Bitfighter if you didn't fight any bits

Umm Every mode.
Most of the top bitfighter players win matches by running away and shooting behind them to prevent chasing.
Running Away to survive is the basis for every game mode you run away to avoid dropping the flag(s) in CTF HTF ZC NX RB BM or so you can score in SC.
Your not changing anything in bitfighters game play.
And I disagree having everyone frantically chase the flag carrier while the flag carrier is desperately trying to run away is the TRUE point of rabbit....

Maybe I dont please post your opinion I don't want to be unfairly biased I just feel a different score system would make rabbit better Because it would make it more competitive as it is not played much right now.

Please say WHY though why is the current system better then what im proposing.
I currently feel like the current system is basicly jaggurnaut but wihout the buffs it should be more like oddball thats the point of the game mode is to flee your enemies as long as you can.
I have done it on a few maps I made the PPS higher then the kill points and it works fine.

Rabbit is meant to have an incentive to not hide. That way there is more action. It is supposed to be 'fast', 'fun', and 'frenetic', after all..

If you've ever played oddball with someone who's actually good at it they will QUITE OFTEN beat you to death with the ball. Just sayin. It's part of the game.

all right I wont argue the point any more I guess If I really want to I can set a really high PPS and WC.
Makes me wonder if we should add my idea as a new game mode....
(Im going to attach a Zip to this when I have time with more info.)
