New Game: FRIDAY, June 5th at 9:00 PM ET

Hey all,

Thanks for playing on Thursday! While it took a little while longer than previously to get more players, we still had loads of fun games of 4v4 and 5v5 and reached 14ish players at our peak, which is awesome to see for a game 15+ years old in various iterations!


This event also continued our streak of reuniting with blasts from the past! Great to see invader alex after who knows how many years. Still hoping to see cloakdood, someone.ninja, _k, and Drex if anyone's got them on speeddial?

After feedback from here, Discord, and in-game, let's try moving the weekly games to Friday nights at the same time (9 PM Eastern)! This puts our first weekly game this Friday, June 5th at 9:00pm Eastern. We can give it a few runs and then reevaluate after a few weeks!

I assume there will be a dedicated contest server up by then but if not we can just congregate in Duck Pond or Pleiades like normal.

PS. Don't forget about the unveiling of the 50+ levels for the Blitz level-making contest this Monday, June 1st at 8:00pm Eastern! Should be a blast!

Little-Apple unfathomably getting outside of the map. (Look at the teleporter exit points -- how!?) According to him he was "bursted" out, but I think he's secretly just a wizard.


This one's a little more understandable given the exit points of this map's teleporters, but it still cracked me up to see Footy casually repairing our base defenses from outside the map.


Awesome numbers for a third week in a row! Yes, there are a few bots, and funny story there too. Anytime I saw an imbalance in the teams I tried to make the teams more even by adding a bot. However, the next player to join the server always seemed to join the server without the bot, so I couldn't just kick the bot, I had to add another bot to make up for my previous adjusment! We definitely had a few wacky games of like 6v3, with 3 bots balancing out the teams haha. Though I'm not complaining, s_bot is a beast!

It was a fun party shame I couldnt stay longer I was playing while
I was supossed to be listening to my zoom classes and my parents burst in and started yelling at me ( ha ha typical parents ) now im gonna be more monitered and probably wont be able to participate anymore unless the time gets changed hopefully I can join a part some time in the future.

Yeah, I'm not sure about moving the time much earlier since it'll start conflicting with folks' work times. Maybe invest in a second screen, one for bitfighter one for zoom haha?
