Awesome game last night! I was not expecting to play FOUR HOURS with like 20 different players throughout but boy was I happy to be surprised! I think we ended up with like 7v7 at our peak which is totally rad.

Let's play again, next Thursday, May 21st at the same time (9 PM Eastern)! I don't know how long I'll be able to do weekly games, but I figure we ought to take advantage of this opportunity while a lot of us are at home with little to do.

Of course, if you prefer a different date, feel free to chime in! I'm only suggesting Thursday since it seemed to get a lot of players, and if something isn't broke then don't fix it! But if folks want to try a different date then I'm all for it.

For now, I'll be hopping in a server on Thursday, May 21st at around 9 PM Eastern... hope to see ya there!

Highlight of the night: There were many, but this one sticks out -- Fordcars singlehandedly beating three other teams in a four-team HTF, despite all the other teams have two players. I may have underestimated the ability of a Ford when picking out my vehicle...

Team Defenders breaking the RTS map to steal a win late in the game was also pretty great.

Being oh-so-close on a couple maps: Our team, comprised of Fordcars, Skybax, Arctic, Quartz, Furbuggy and myself, taking on Santiago ZAP, bobdaduck, SirFlan, Popcorn, Spleeman, Iamp and nalegsos, losing 57-58 in a Team Deathmatch. Or Arctic literally being one ship-length from capping a flag on the asymmetrical Rockefeller Rombo to win. Brutal!

Shoutout to bobdaduck with a huge assortment of super interesting, and fun, modded maps. I'll be honest, I started a lot of them with low expectations, and I was pleasantly surprised by many of them. That weird soccer map toward the end -- Orbiton -- turned out to be a thriller. Tanz Mit Mir I thought was just some pointless free for all nexus... then walls started appearing. Mothership I thought at first was just gimmicky, only to find out there was a ton of strategy in how we attacked/defended the core. Thanks to bobdaduck for hosting and for teaching me to come into games with more of an open mind!

I know I didn't see all my old bitfighter friends... (footie ) but I saw a lot and it was great to get some zapping in. I'll have to jump on the discord audio server next week!

PS. Bobdaduck has a kid now. I remember back when he was just a little ducky! What a rush.

Had an absolute blast! Thank you so much sky_lark for hosting, and bobdaducky for all the fancy levelgens. We also played a bunch of amazing classic -and not so classic- maps from a bunch of talented mapmakers. Absolutely can't wait for next week!

Thursday afternoons are the time I am doing my collage school work now could it be pushed to before 7 MDT (maybe like 3 MDT?)

What is DMT? Do you mean MDT?

If you're doing your school work during the afternoon, why would pushing it earlier help? Wouldn't you want it pushed later?

thats what I said push it three four hours earlier nto sure if less people would be avaible though

I'm confused. Afternoons are like 12-5pm. Pushing it from 7pm MDT, which is in the evening, to 3pm, which is the afternoon, would seemingly directly conflict with when you are doing your school work.

What am I missing?

Anyway, game reminder: Tomorrow (Thursday, May 21st) at 9:00pm Eastern! Maybe we can adjust the time in the future, but let's stick with this time for this week since it's been posted.
