New Bitfighter pre-release 013 needs testing

Just in time for last month's contest, I've updated the editor to allow things like arbitrary rotation (ctrl-shift-R) and much better snapping support (snapping vertex will be colored pink, and things snap to one another in addition to the grid). You can also edit team names in the team menu. Also, holding ~ while you start a wall lets you start a graphic line. Lots of other enhancements as well.

Check it out, and give me some feedback. The editor component is (almost) feature-complete for 013, so I'd like to get some testing done. All levels should be backwards compatible with 012, so your efforts will not be wasted!

Sorry, Windows only for the moment... (but try running it in VirtualBox on Mac!! Should do great there!!)

Not really -- the major ones are outlined in my posting, most of the others are fixes or other enhancements that just "happen", and don't require any magic keys or anything.

Oh, and the level gets saved to an autosave file every time you do anything, so in the event of a crash, you'll always have your latest. That said, I've fixed all the known crashes, and I feel I can safely say that the editor is more stable than ever.

The autosave goes to some backup like editor.tmp, right?

This is an amazing update. This gets my seal of a approval.
BTW, did bots get anything new?

I think you've seen a lot of the bot updates in the seven pre-releases on the other side of the forums...

I'm talking about since the last prerelease. There are still functions I need for retrieve bots.

Oh - maybe it is. I don't know, I had just assumed that it was a new pre-release because none of the other features were talked about before this, only bots.

This is a new pre-release, somethning like 013.09 (or so) but there are no new bot functions included this time around, as I've been focusing on winnowing down the list of non-bot stuff that needs finishing.

Other than the bot requests you posted recently, i.e. random point in zone, random zone, and having isInCapture zone and friends return the zone in question, what else do you need?

Note that it will be possible to add new bot functions after the release because they can be implemented by upgrading the server only; clients won't need to be touched. None-the-less, let me know what you want, and I'll try to be accommodating.

Can't think of any other bot functions except teleporters support for the navigation. However, I'll most likely be finding new ones that I'd like occasionally.
