Master Server down?

The master server appears to be down. I have good Internet connection and it says "Contacting master server..." and at the top "Couldn't connect to Master Server - Firewall issues? Do you have the latest version?". Funny thing is, I played for a few seconds earlier today and it worked fine.

Please post if anybody is having a similar issue. Thanks!

Yep, it's definitely a server problem.

The status widget is also in error. I would have thought it just died during one of these outings, but the same five people have been stuck on it for a while now. Funny thing is, I ran into Mirabelle and Banane before it went down and they were unmoving, unresponsive, for a long time.

It is not in error. It just don't work if server is down. I'm sure it'll be fine one's the server is back on.

Funny thing about these two. I met them too and I don't understand their point of being afk

No I know, I just figured it would reset... like say nobody's online or something. I don't know how it all works or anything, that's just what I thought.

I just restarted the master server. Looks like that was the problem. Things should be getting back to normal soon...

Server is down again

Yeah, darn (although I wasn't going to play anyway lol).

Odd... I restarted it, and all should be good.

Perhaps someone should write a script to automatically restart the server every 24 hours?

There is a cron job running on the server that checks the server status every minute. The problem is that, occasionally, the script is fooled.
