Bitfighter Forums

So I'll be booting this up. Making the map, will be the first part of it-- I'll still need to work on getting a permanent server set up.

So houses will get a very basic set up to start, and people can earn points by doing work for our advertising campaign. There will be other prizes for other contests and community events as they crop up.

Freedom in setting up your own house is going to be pretty limited to start off, just to warn everyone.

But the first thing I'm interested in is who you guys would like to nominate to the "Hall of Fame". These should be inactive members who have contributed a lot to the game, either through programming, competitions, map making, or just general community liveliness.

Cool ideas. I'll get the ball rolling.

Hamster.rs for promoting creative level design and pushing the limits of the game, and for progress in clan and community development. Though many of his creations (rocket ships, invisible walls) are no longer useable in today's game, his forward thinking motivated users to come up with innovative ideas.

Karamazovapy (_k) for progressing community engagement and level design. He singlehandedly ran dozens of exciting contests that united the community and fueled interest in the game.

Drex (honorable mention) for introducing a competitive edge to an otherwise casual game. Though he may have been hated by many, his aggressive play-style fueled our discovery of new tactics and techniques.

Unsure if they count as inactive but I would also add...

Kaen for his work in developing several aspects of the game, including his contributions to statistics, level editor plugins, and the much appreciated Pleiades.

Sam686 for his dedication to the game experience, providing quality servers that stand to this day and amassing impressive video coverage.

Raptor : For Continued hard work on this game despite its struggle for fame And Its incredible progress over the years. (not inactive but deserves it.)

Wattsimmo : for contributing greatly to the progress and development of the game and on the forums. (not inactive but deserves it.)

Bobaduck : For great community activity bringing the community together via the forums and parties and contests.

I have to say though, the developers really work hard on Bitfighter and maybe there should be a spot for them, they are the reason we are all here

Maybe we could make them special trophies or something. Outstanding members of the community.

Or statues in the middle of the park lol

I am extremely grateful to our developer overlords, but traditionally hall of fames honor retired or dead individuals. Hopefully none of the inductees are dead, just inactive
