How to play: (read while playing)
Become a god!...Of an island. Add blocks of different materials to build towers!
Select the tools by clicking on them.
You can also drag them around to spawn the items in different areas.
To spawn the selected item press the space bar
Tools are:
Bomb tool: place a bomb that will explode in 10 seconds after it is spawned.

Metal tool: Place a heavy metal block.

Wood tool: Place a wooden block.

Ice tool: Place a very fragile ice block.

Life tool: Place a human on your island that can be selected and controlled.

Stone tool: Place a heavy stone block.

Water tool (Very unfinished): Place a bit of water on the ground. Humans will go through it.

Not really any variety and there seem to be quite a few buggy things. Doesn't seem to be a point and there's not much of interaction between anything. Or a point to using different tools.

Im not quite done with it yet.
The water still bumps into stuff.
The difference between the materials is: The sound when they are dropped, The friction they have, their weight, And how breakable they are.

physics are a bit odd too

Changes that will be made in Island God Version II
- Snow and C4 tools will be added.
- Music will be changed to something more fitting.
- Bombs take less time to explode.
- Humans will run and jump faster.
- Many bug fixes

I hope these tweaks will help make the game more fun

Just after i listed the updates i got right to it and did it!
Click on the same link as before to play version 2!

C4: Almost the same as bomb but only explodes when comes in contact with something.

Snow: EXTREMELY fragile solid. Tip: Try making a tower of solids and knock it down with snow balls!

Sadly I could not add the eraser. That will have to wait until version III.

Water is now a bit more realistic but still needs work.

Music changed to something more fitting.

Bombs now take 5 seconds to explode rather then 10.

I still don't understand how this is a game. Is there any way to win? Are there any accomplishments of any kind? Without any kind of goal, this doesn't even qualify as a game. It's just a really highly limited sandbox.

Come to think of it, what did you do to customize this? It's like a blank physics engine with nothing added to it.

Its not really a game its a toy and it is very limited for now but won't be in future versions

(Couldn't add the eraser for the reason that sploder isnt really ment to make stuff like that.)

- Dirt added.
- Fire added.
- Water and C4 improved.
- Gold added.
- Sand added.
- Gunpowder added.
- Humans can jump higher
- Rubber added.

...Which is why people hire c++ programmers,so they don't have to learn c++. And typically when getting hired, you get offered money. And when offered money, you get money for what you do! And when you get money, = profit! And when you make a profit, you can buy food so you don't die.

Maybe I don't wanna make profit of a game.
Maybe I just wanna see if people like it.
