BTB - Zoomest - Cracatoa

The map is attached to this post in a zip file. Updated as of 8/20/10.

Edit:This map is meant to be a novelty map, not exactly a stable one.

Re: BTB-Zoomest-Cracatoa

Try replacing your speedzones with this code and see what you think:
  Code:
SpeedZone 4.4 4.9  3.5 5.2  2000 SnapEnabled
SpeedZone 5.28746 4.65039  4.4 4.9  2000 SnapEnabled
SpeedZone 3.5 5.2  2.7 5.4  2000 SnapEnabled
SpeedZone 5.74373 5.07969  5.5 4.9  2000 SnapEnabled
SpeedZone 1.3 2.2  1.8 1.6  2000 SnapEnabled
SpeedZone 1.8 1.6  2.3 1.5  2000 SnapEnabled
SpeedZone 1 2.9  1.3 2.2  2000 SnapEnabled
SpeedZone 0.9 3.8  1 2.9  2000 SnapEnabled
SpeedZone 1.7 5.3  1.2 4.8  2000 SnapEnabled
SpeedZone 1.2 4.8  0.9 3.8  2000 SnapEnabled
SpeedZone 2.7 5.4  1.7 5.3  2000 SnapEnabled

Enabling Snapping on speedzones/gofasts makes it so you fly exactly where the arrow is pointing instead of bouncing off all over the place. I think this is more what you were going for.

Interesting level concept, although I'm not sure how playable it really is.

Re: BTB - Zoomest - Cracatoa

Please, never zip your files with .7z. Use the standard .zip so people with Windows can play them without getting special software just to unzip the dang things. Or even better, use Pastebin for levels. That way we can download or copy/paste them, which is quite convenient.

Even better than a zip is to paste the level at http://bitfighter.pastebin.com, then post a link here.

Does pastebin retain code indefinitely?

You can set the retention length, the default being forever. I think. Of course, the site could go down, away, or to hell, and then we'd be stuck.

What a strange level!

I really like it XD. I was just talking to _K today about how we don't get maps like this any more. This is why I like new players.
BAM! I'm back.

Re: BTB - Zoomest - Cracatoa

good. Its one of the few remaining maps that has that "Zap!" feel.

you know, that crazy, unorganized, fun, explorative level
