If a tree falls in a forest...

This is kind of a dumb question but I am curious nonetheless. If I am playing in a server with some bots, and I leave, so the only "players" left are bots, do the bots keep playing on the map while no human players remain? Does the map finish or does it change to a new map right away? I know once I return to the server a new map starts, but if I decided not to return, would the map remain for however long it has left? Do maps continue to cycle through as rounds start and end even if nobody is playing?

If only bots are left, the server goes into a paused-like state where no level is loaded and it is just waiting for a human.

How do you think the bots feel about that? Knowing that they were unable to finish their game?!
