Anyone know...

...if there's a way to permanently make entire forums invisible?

Re: Anyone know...

Should be; I've seen forums that were invisible to the public before on phpBB 2 boards.

I could probably rig up a system here myself, since I've tinkered around with boards before, but _k'll be able to do it too -- messing around with bulletin boards nowadays is easy; it just takes a little time to get used to them.

I don't want them invisible to others, only to me!

Re: Anyone know...

You're an admin, man; what do you expect.

If you really want to, you could always make a second account for yourself, and log exclusively on to that -- or make a second account, talk to _k, and, upon learning how to give it the same powers as you possess now, do so, then take them away from your current account.

After that, I imagine it wouldn't be too troublesome to rig up a special set of permissions for whichever account you use, preventing it from viewing the forums you view as problematic.

Re: Anyone know...

You may be able to add yourself individually as a user under the Permissions tab and select No as Visible for whatever forums you don't really care to view. I *think* user settings override group settings when they're individually customized.
