05:40:00Zoomberraptor!
05:40:00Zoomberhi
05:40:00raptorhowdy
05:40:00Zoomberneeded you online
05:40:00Zoomberok i was playing around with the xcode script a bit
05:41:00Zoombercompiled, but then i realized the changest was about 32 hours ago, (which was a while ago, so the changeset now was one at leats 40 hours ago), so i updated to latest, and now i get about 100 errors. horray!
05:42:00Zoomberthe issue is with alure
05:42:00raptorah yes
05:42:00Zoomberive looked at it
05:42:00raptori'm sure that is borken
05:42:00Zoombermy question is
05:42:00Zoomberis it broken by script? or just by not correctly added to xcode?
05:42:00raptori have no idea
05:42:00Zoomberor in other words, is it possible for me to fix it or not :p
05:43:00Zoomberdoes it compile on linux?
05:43:00raptorwe've broken a lot
05:43:00raptoryes
05:43:00raptorwait
05:43:00Zoomberok
05:43:00raptornot sure
05:43:00Zoombermaybe i can me it work then
05:43:00raptorhaven't tried the latest things :)
05:43:00Zoomberive added the libvorbis header shearh path too..
05:43:00raptorcompiling in linux now...
05:43:00Zoombersearch*
05:43:00raptoroh good
05:44:00raptoroh!
05:44:00Zoomberoh?
05:44:00raptorthere will need to be a vorbis framework built or added in somehow
05:44:00Zoomberyes
05:45:00Zoomberalure_init_vorbisfile()" referenced from: Init_alure() in alure.o symbol couldnt not be found..
05:47:00raptoroh... there may be a codec_vorbisfile class in the alure source directory that isn't added in xcode
05:47:00Zoomberthere are codecs in alure too not included in xcode
05:47:00raptorjust guessing...
05:47:00Zoomberoh
05:47:00raptoryeah, the only ones we include are vorbisfile, wav, and aiff
05:47:00Zoomberthat was maybe what i tried to add to the ones eariler
05:47:00Zoombershould i not include the others?
05:47:00raptornononononono
05:47:00raptorwe'd need to find a new framework for each one :)
05:48:00raptorvorbis only - for now
05:48:00Zoomberok
05:48:00Zoomberwait
05:48:00raptor(and wav/aiff, but thos don't count)
05:48:00Zoomberonly codec_vorbis?
05:48:00Zoombernot aiff or wav?
05:48:00Zoomberoh ok
05:48:00raptorcodec_wav, codec_aiff, codec_vorbisfile
05:48:00raptorare the only three for now
05:48:00Zoomberok
05:51:00koda has joined
05:52:00Zoomberha ok one step closer
05:53:00Zoomberok well i got that done
05:53:00Zoomberalso added /libogg
05:53:00Zoomberso it could find ogg/ogg.h
05:53:00raptorexcellent
05:54:00Zoombernow must look into
05:54:00Zoomber_ov_info" referenced from...ov_pcm_seek ref from..._ov_clear.._ov_read..._ov_open_callbacks
05:55:00raptorprobably because of alure not being properly linked to vorbisfile
05:56:00raptornot sure how to do that on mac
05:56:00Zoomberhmm
05:56:00Zoomberi have an idea
05:57:00raptorwell i need to hit the sack
05:58:00raptorgood night and good luck :]
05:58:00Zoomberthanks
05:58:00raptorone last thought
05:58:00Zoomberwell makefile didnt work
05:58:00Zoomberjust was curious to see if it would work or not
05:58:00raptori think there is a compiler flag with alure called DYNLOAD
05:58:00Zoomberoh
05:58:00Zoomberthat could help me
05:59:00raptorit is set to 1 like this: -DDYNLOAD=1
05:59:00Zoomberok
05:59:00raptorset it to 0 and then require libvorbis/libogg in the linking
05:59:00raptorthat's my last thought for the night
05:59:00Zoomberok
05:59:00raptorgood night!

17:56:00Zoomberor voice at all
17:56:00Zoomberfor that matter
17:56:00raptoryes - that is a long ways off
17:56:00Zoomberoh ok
17:57:00raptorI have to write a sound patch for openAL to support input devices - something it has never supported before
17:57:00raptorand I am way over my head
17:57:00Zoomberoh
17:57:00raptori mean
17:57:00raptorOpenAL never supported input devices on Mac before
18:07:00raptorZoomber: i'm going to look at your changes and slurp them into trunk
18:08:00raptorand thank you for fixing the mac project
18:13:00raptor80000 errors WOW
18:14:00raptori must have done something wrong...
18:44:00watusimotoyou probably forgot a ;
18:45:00raptoraww man
18:45:00raptormac frameworks are dependent on soft-linking
18:46:00raptorwhich is unsupported by cross-platform version control systems
18:46:00raptorso I the frameworks are borken

23:27:00raptorwhen deleting a SafePtr pointer (not shared_ptr) - this fails on Mac: delete someSharedPointer
23:28:00raptorso my question is: what is the proper way to delete a SafePtr?
23:28:00raptordelete someSafePointer.getPointer()?
23:34:00raptorah, i think i foudn it: someSafePtr->deleteObject();
23:55:00koda Quit (Quit: k thx bai)
