01:17:26raptorjust pushed big sensor changes
01:18:16BFLogBot - Commit 0e0e40b9265f | Author: buckyballreaction | Log: Major sensor module changes - Activating the module now places spybug - Cloak detection is now passive, but at a reduced distance - Passive view increase is the same, but there is no more larger view when module is activated

04:55:59sam686Older clients might not know how to render the new badges (especially if, in the future, moving from 018 to 108a)... Maybe older clients can ask master and master can send list of commands to clients so the client can render badges? Maybe the commands and instructions to render could be in LUA script or something?
05:02:25raptoryeah, i'm not sure how to solve that...
05:02:50raptorolder clients just draw a black square - maybe there's a way the client can check to see if it can render it first?
05:51:21sam686raptor, staying up late past midnight?
06:15:13raptoryes, but now i go to bed :)
06:15:15raptornight!

15:21:29raptorhello Watusimoto - when you get the chance, please test the new sensor changes. I actually think i like the reduced, passive cloak detection better..
15:22:01Watusimotothat's good news!
15:22:20WatusimotoI'll check it ina bit... trying to get a backup running... I'm a little behind in that department
15:22:33Watusimotooh how I wish there were a good rsync client for windows
15:22:33raptorhome data backup?
15:23:02raptorfor windows, i install the cygwin sshd
15:23:29raptorthen remotely call rsync through it to back up the files...
15:24:25Watusimotough... cygwin
15:24:36raptoryeah, that's the downside...
15:25:21Watusimotocan there *really* be no native port of such an important bit of software??
15:25:39raptorheh
15:25:49raptorwell...
15:26:02raptori think there may be an rsyncd for windows somewhere
15:26:03Watusimotomaybe we can roll one into bitfighter
15:26:16WatusimotoTrying this: http://sourceforge.net/projects/sereds/files/cwRsync/4.0.3/
15:26:23Watusimotothough it is cygwin under the hood
15:26:29Watusimotobut hopefully well disguised
15:26:54Watusimotoactually, all i'm really doing is backing up to a usb hard drive
15:27:27raptorMircosoft claim they are POSIX compliant...
15:28:24raptorbut they really just created all the POSIX signatures and said that they are 'unimplimented'
15:28:33raptorthus cygwin is needed...
15:32:27raptordo we want the new Console class in the dedicated build? (it's currently broken..)
15:40:29Watusimotophooey... I'm going back to syncback
15:40:37Watusimotowe don't need console in dedicated
15:40:41Watusimotoifdef it out
15:42:54raptorso before we added ifdefs to oglconsole.h, this time should i do the same for Console.h, or ifdef out the gConsole?
15:51:25Watusimotonot sure...
16:22:00Watusimotosensor looks good, but I expcted the animation to be different
16:37:45raptoryes, haven't started that yet...
16:39:02raptorhmm 26 instances of gConsole..
16:47:07Watusimotowell good start!
16:47:09Watusimotook, dinner time
16:47:23raptorbye!, i'll be back in like 5 hours or so..
