00:02:37Watusimotowell, you've certainly managed to create an interesting and almost unplayable level!
00:04:53bobdaducklol
00:05:00Fordcars has joined
00:05:15bobdaduckExperimental, certainly
00:05:21Fordcarshi
00:06:55Watusimotoclever idea!
00:06:58Watusimotohi
00:07:25bobdaduck1640 items selected
00:07:26bobdaducklol
00:07:39raptorWatusimoto: idea
00:07:47raptorsome sort of /runluacustom
00:07:59Watusimotosounds snappy!
00:08:01raptorcommand that can run a method of script of your choice?
00:08:09raptorduring a level at any time
00:08:19raptorlike one to clean up all the asteroids
00:08:21Watusimotothat was part of the idea for the console
00:08:49raptordoes the console hook in server-side right now?
00:08:50Watusimotoso, conceptually, I like the idea
00:08:56WatusimotoI think so
00:09:02Watusimotoat least it did at one point
00:09:10Watusimotoyou could add items via console cmds
00:09:40Watusimotobut it created all sorts of confusion, and I'm not certain of its current state
00:09:52Watusimotobut, if that worked, would that meet your needs?
00:10:19Watusimotoor do you want a "neater" solution?
00:10:32bobdaduckOkay guys I multiplied the entire level by 2
00:10:35raptorthat would be fine
00:10:38bobdaduckAnd it feels playable now!
00:15:00Watusimotodid you use gridsize?
00:15:06bobdaduckOf course not
00:15:09bobdaduckgridsize is broken
00:15:13bobdaduckctrl-shift-x
00:17:57raptorgood, that the proper way
00:19:10Fordcarswe need /runluacustom make_everyone"zap_dance.lua
00:21:48FordcarsI have weird sound bugs in the kaen test server 0.o
00:24:50Little_Apple Quit (Quit: Page closed)
00:25:15kaen...
00:25:30kaenI don't think that's a bug on my end.
00:26:43Fordcarsweird it just started doing that :/ Flag sounds bugs
00:28:52Nothing_MuchI'm wondering if there's a microphone feature in bf.
00:28:57raptorthere is
00:29:00raptorvoice chat exists
00:29:21Nothing_Muchoh, that's neat
00:29:31raptorit was disabled by default in this last release (my fault)
00:29:41raptorbut you can enable it on a server in the INI
00:30:24Nothing_Muchohh
00:30:30Nothing_Muchthat'd be nice
00:33:21bobdaduckImplement circles!
00:33:22bobdaduckxD
00:40:56kaenI implemented circles with real pathing AI for my swarm game mode
00:41:05kaennot really as cool as you might think
00:44:02kaenI could probably enable voice chat on my server
00:44:10kaennot like I'm hard up for bandwidth.
00:44:27kaenbut apparently I already have a troll problem.
00:44:48raptoron kaen test?
00:44:50Fordcarsno one ever uses voice chat. Well besides amgine :P
00:44:51raptorprobably...
00:45:29kaenyeah.
00:45:41kaencritical error being so liberal with the admin pass, too
00:45:50kaenI'm already getting reports of abuse ._.
00:46:11FordcarsLa? yeah
00:46:22Fordcarsbut I didn'T notice
00:46:35kaenI mean, could just be a vocal minority
00:46:44raptoryeah
00:46:54kaenbut I don't want anyone to have reason to be vocal about my server being bad.
00:47:13raptorLamp has decided to be idle by: being an admin, holding down the fire key
00:47:20kaen...
00:47:26raptorand you can't kick an admin
00:47:31kaenokay.
00:47:37kaen ssh's into the server
00:47:46raptorwhen he does that, Little_Apple just does a server shutdown
00:47:47Fordcarsyou can do that?!?
00:47:54Fordcarsssh?
00:48:10raptorand kaen-loop restarts it! :)
00:48:31Fordcarsoh, can you do server commands in Bitfighter command-prompt?
00:48:35kaenno
00:48:40kaenthat's what ssh is for
00:48:43kaenI'm ssh'ing into my VPS
00:48:52kaenwhich is running the servers
00:48:54Fordcarsok :P
00:49:15FordcarsI have an ssh client on iPod, it's useful :P
00:49:25kaenwhat's the command to soft shutdown a password?
00:49:33kaen/shutdown I'd guess?
00:49:37Watusimotoyay! chat works again!
00:50:02Watusimotoeven while you are engineering!
00:50:52raptorkaen: any admin can also do /setadminpass
00:51:02raptorbut i'm not sure if that persists
00:51:11Fordcarshey guys, are you getting any Level Editor bugs?
00:51:22raptorFordcars: there are a couple in 018
00:51:30FordcarsI got loads
00:51:32Fordcarswell 1
00:51:35Fordcarsbut its big
00:51:53raptorok let me know
00:52:00raptorhooray Watusimoto!
00:52:25Watusimotonot totally working, as I have now discovered... but at least now I can find and fix the bugs
00:54:30kaenwow raptor you have no idea of the butthurt I just elicited by changing the admin pass
00:54:43kaenlamp was all-caps'ing so hard.
00:55:59bobdaducklol
00:56:01bobdaduckreally?
01:00:30raptorhahaha
01:01:44raptorwell i think Lamp reads the logs... so you should probably not post a new one here..
01:01:57Fordcarsok I can't find my old post :/ Well the level editor bug is that if, for example, I make a square with a wall. Then, I wan't to drag one corner of it. if I am tryinf to drag corner 0, it will move the whole wall. If I try to move the corner 1, it will move the corner 1, 2, 3 and 4. If I try to move the corner 3, it will move the corners 2,3 and 4. If I try to move the corner 3, it will move the corner 3 and 4. If I try to
01:01:57Fordcarsmove the corner 4, it will only move four. This bug is in 018.
01:02:02Fordcarssorry,
01:02:23raptorin 018, or in a newer dev build?
01:02:27Fordcars:/ just realized this was long
01:02:34Fordcarsnormal downloaded 018
01:02:41Fordcarsfrom bitfighter.org
01:02:53raptorok, using barriers?
01:03:01raptoror polywall?
01:03:12Fordcarsyeah, but also loadouts, goal, polywalls...
01:03:40FordcarsI had this bug in 17b once, too
01:03:47Fordcarsdevelopper build
01:04:55raptor?
01:05:06raptori'm not seeing this issue in latest build
01:05:36Fordcarsyeah I just tried a developper build I got a few weeks back and it has the same bug.
01:05:55raptormCac?
01:06:00raptorosx
01:06:03raptori mean
01:06:33FordcarsThis bug is in: was once in 017b developper build, 018 normal official, an 018a developper build I got a week ago
01:06:49Fordcarsyep, Mac, PPC, you know :P
01:07:06FordcarsI'll check out if this bug is in the latest build
01:07:17kaenplease do
01:07:29kaenthis is on the issue tracker iirc
01:08:14Fordcarsok
01:08:15raptorreally?
01:08:42kaenoh nope
01:08:46kaenjust a slightly different one
01:08:50kaenhttp://code.google.com/p/bitfighter/issues/detail?id=191#c2
01:09:23kaenI'd put down $5 that rebuilding latest will resolve it Fordcars
01:09:42raptori want $5!
01:10:10Fordcarsok :
01:10:14FordcarsWHAT?
01:10:23kaenworks? :)
01:11:03Fordcarskaen just pm me that he'd put down 5$, and then raptor said he wanted it ?!? it was a pm, how did you do that :(
01:11:16kaenit was not a PM
01:11:18raptorummm
01:11:21Fordcarsoh
01:11:22kaenI highlighted you by saying your name
01:11:23kaenFordcars
01:11:28Fordcarsyeah ok
01:11:31raptorhaha
01:11:46Fordcarsstupid IRC client >:(
01:12:10kaenname highlighting one of the most important features of IRC clients...
01:12:18kaenis one*
01:12:31Fordcarshaha ok
01:12:46kaenI'd pick it over tab complete if I had to choose
01:12:52kaenalthough it would be a very hard choice...
01:12:59raptornothing beats TAB complete!
01:13:07Fordcarslol
01:13:11kaenexcept knowing when people are talking to you!
01:13:39Fordcarsok so I am doing a clean build
01:13:51raptoryay
01:13:52kaenfordcars, have you tried using cmake by chance?
01:14:03Fordcarsnah
01:14:08kaenosx is the only system I haven't tested it on
01:14:40kaenmight even generate xcode projects, now that I think about it
01:14:47kaensince it does vc++ by default.
01:15:08raptorthat would be interesting!
01:15:12Fordcarsheh
01:15:17kaendude
01:15:21kaenthe vc++ projects it made
01:15:23kaenare beautiful
01:15:28Fordcarsreally?
01:15:35kaeneach lib has its own little project dohickey
01:15:49Fordcarsheh ok
01:15:54kaenI don't know the terminology, but it generated probably as good of a project file as anyone could make by hand.
01:16:06raptoroh wow
01:16:09kaenI hit "compile" and it did.
01:16:12raptorthat's awesome
01:16:19Watusimotook, bedtime
01:16:25WatusimotoWhat I have seems to work
01:16:35Watusimotobut I haven;t tested it thoroughly
01:16:39Fordcarsnight watusimoto!
01:16:41raptoruh oh
01:16:42Watusimotoshould I check it in, or wait?
01:16:48raptorplease wait

01:17:14Fordcars110 files to compile ._.
01:18:26raptorI implore you to wait...
01:18:48raptorand wake up tomorrow with a fresh mind to check it again
01:18:50Watusimotowaiting!
01:19:00raptor:)
01:19:05WatusimotoI'm checking in and merging now, but I won't push til tomorrow
01:19:09raptorok
01:24:34Fordcarsok done compiling

01:52:26raptorhe is reporting a mac editor bug with dragging vertices
01:52:56Little_Applewhat's wrong about it?
01:53:16raptordragging various corners of a zone or poly object will drag only some vertices?
01:53:36Little_Applewhaa?

02:16:39Fordcars?
02:16:50raptorif you move the mouse around a vertex, it doesn't highlight immediately does it?
02:17:04raptori have some sort of delayed highlighting
02:17:25raptorthe vertex should turn white, then you know it's time to be able to move it
02:17:59FordcarsOh I know the bug, when you select 0, for example, it selects 0, 1, 2, 3, so it moves them
02:18:15raptoryes
02:18:17raptorbut
02:18:32FordcarsI don't have a delayed highlighting
02:18:38raptorare you selecting 0 when the vertex square has highlighted?
02:19:08Fordcarsthe yellow highlight?
02:19:24raptorthe little square around the vertex numbers
02:19:27raptorshould turn white
02:19:45Fordcarsyeah, after it turns white

06:01:08kaenI don't know what the downtime was for

14:39:21kaenI ended up watching Robots last night

14:39:35kaenthe CG film
14:39:47raptorhuh
14:39:49kaenI really liked it. I'm still a child a heart though.
14:39:54raptorI missed that one completely
14:40:49raptorwow, a lot of popular actors as voices
14:40:58kaenthe main character was really well developed, and I related well to the storyline.
14:41:19kaenit's definitely true to the CG children's film formula though
14:41:38kaenwhich I don't think is necessarily bad, but it kind of devalued it for me.

15:19:41raptorha! BOTH of Fordcars Editor issues are because of Vector<bool>
15:24:07raptorhuh
15:24:32raptordoes sizeof(char) == sizeof(int) on big endian?
15:24:49Watusimotohi
15:24:55raptorhi
15:24:57WatusimotoI was showing my son how to bump locks
15:25:12Watusimotoan alternate career in case school doesn't work out :-)
15:25:16raptorheh
15:26:06Watusimotoin short... I don't know.. I'd have to look it up
15:26:10Watusimotoit is platform dependent
15:26:19Watusimotoprobably cpu dependent
15:26:40Watusimotowait.... that sizeof comparison will only work on an 8 bit machine!
15:26:46raptorok
15:26:50WatusimotoI think
15:26:53raptorso our current issue is the following:
15:27:06raptorTNL::Vector<bool> doesn't work on big endian systems
15:27:20raptorand I think it's because it's using storage of bool as a char
15:28:24WatusimotoVector<bool> is the one you wrote, right?
15:28:26raptorso, are you opposed to me using an ing instead of char for storage of bool ?
15:28:28raptorno
15:28:29Watusimotodoesn't it pack bits
15:28:37raptorstd::vector<bool> packs
15:28:53Watusimotodoes vec<bool> just use vec<bool>?
15:28:57Watusimotosorry
15:28:57raptorsam686 wrote TNL::Vector<bool> to not do the packing and actually be a normal container
15:29:22WatusimotoVec<bool> does not use vec<bool> then, right?
15:29:23raptorstd::vector<bool> does not store bool because the various c++ committees weren't thinking straight
15:29:26raptorcorrect
15:30:06Watusimotodoes Vec<bool> pack bits for transmission?
15:30:09WatusimotoI'm sure it does
15:30:34raptorthe TNL::Vector is a packed type, yes
15:30:36Watusimotowhat's probably happening is the packed bits are read out in the reverse order on big endian systems
15:31:12raptori think it's the storage because no Vector<bool> is used in network transmission
15:31:29raptorand not Vector does not do packing
15:31:34raptor*and no
15:31:43Watusimotook, I am confused
15:31:57raptorTNL::Vector is a container, nothing more
15:32:00WatusimotoWhy are we using Vector<bool> for local storage?
15:32:11raptoryou used it for the editor in the rewrite
15:32:25Watusimotowhy not map it to vector<bool>? surely not for storage reasons
15:32:33raptorbecause
15:32:41raptorvector<bool> is NOT a vector or a bool
15:32:50WatusimotoI understand that
15:32:57Watusimotobut you can use it as if it is, right?
15:33:17raptoryes, but it is super slow and doesn't behave like normal std::vector
15:33:30raptorthat's why sam686 wrote the TNL implementation to use instead
15:33:41Watusimotoso vector<bool> doesn't even work locally very well
15:33:45raptorcorrect!
15:33:54Watusimotoand sam reimplmented so we would have a functioning vecotr<bool>
15:34:00Watusimotowhich we called Vector<bool>
15:34:01raptoryes!
15:34:03Watusimotook
15:34:05Watusimotowhew
15:34:08raptorand it has an endian issue
15:34:09Nothing_Much has joined
15:34:15Watusimotoexcept it doesn't work on big endian machines
15:34:17raptornow you're caught up!
15:34:22Watusimotook
15:34:39raptorthe issue is the inner storage: std::vector<char> innerVector
15:34:45raptorfor Vector<bool>
15:34:53raptorit is std::vector<T> innerVector for everything else
15:35:21raptorso i wonder if i store the bool as an int, what other problems i'd run in to...
15:35:53Watusimotoyes, ok
15:36:04WatusimotoI was looking for the implementation of Vec<bool>
15:36:10Watusimotoknow where it is?
15:42:35Watusimotoall advice I can find about Vec<bool> is to just use a vec<int> instead
15:42:41Watusimotosorry vec<bool>
15:42:45raptorok
15:42:47raptori'll do that
15:42:57raptortnlVector.h:70
15:42:59raptoris the issue
15:43:05raptori'll change 'char' to S32
15:43:58Watusimotoor deque<bool>
15:44:04Watusimotowhich is apparently less broken
15:44:22raptoractually
15:44:30raptoryou tried deque in the editor before
15:44:34raptorand it had problems
15:44:50raptorthat's why we settled on Vector<bool>
15:44:53Watusimotook
15:44:59WatusimotoI vaguely remember
15:45:22Watusimotoso now I am confused about why a vector<char> would not work on some systems
15:46:23raptorapparently (but i'm not sure)
15:46:35raptorsizof(char) == sizeof(int)
15:46:38raptorsorry
15:46:45raptorsizeof(bool) == sizeof(int)
15:46:56raptorinstead of sizeof(bool) == sizeof(char)
15:46:59raptoron some systems
15:47:04raptorat least that's what i'm reading..

16:21:08raptorok
16:21:25raptorso we have an issue with bitfighter.org
16:21:30raptorwhat is happening
16:21:50raptoris that mysqld, httpd, and java all see that it is a 64bit machine
16:22:14raptorand they say: "64bit, yay! that means I can hold onto LOTS of address space longer!"
16:22:19raptorso they all do it
16:23:06raptormysql and httpd end up inflating in RAM until there is no RAM left, then the Linux kernel starts killing processes
16:23:22raptorbecause there is no SWAP space, the processes die
16:23:41raptorand we get the game servers or the logbot shutting down
16:24:05raptoror even being unable to SSH in because there isn't enough RAM to start a bash session
16:24:22raptormy conclusion: we probably should have stuck with 32bit
16:30:27raptori just restarted mysqld and httpd - combined they were using 420 MB or so
16:34:52Watusimoto_interesting
16:35:10Watusimoto_do you think that's a system issue or a intentional design issue by the devs of those package
16:35:11Watusimoto_s
16:35:21raptori think it is a system issue
16:35:31raptorthe VPS has some weird memory limits
16:35:33Watusimoto_the system should be aware of its memory limitations
16:35:48raptorwell, being VPS, things get funny I think..
16:35:57Watusimoto_yes, possibly
16:36:08Watusimoto_so we should probably switch back to 32 bit then...
16:36:17Watusimoto_which will be a pain
16:36:26Watusimoto_as I assume it means reinstalling everything
16:36:27Watusimoto_again
16:36:49raptorprobably lots, but we can just lay down the directory structure for all the web stuff
16:36:56raptorand our home directories
16:37:13raptorbut database set up would require dump/import
16:37:25raptorbut i wish to research a bit more
16:37:30Watusimoto_sure
16:37:38Watusimoto_surely someone has created a reinstall everything script
16:38:06Watusimoto_that examines the system, creates a script and som db files that you copy off to your new system
16:38:12Watusimoto_and presto, back in business
16:38:16Watusimoto_mint has something like that
16:38:17raptorperhaps
16:38:19Watusimoto_for upgrading
16:38:26raptorbut Linux package names will be different
16:38:43raptoracross architectures, i mean
16:38:51Watusimoto_yes
16:39:04Watusimoto_linux is rather painful at times
16:39:22Watusimoto_"Can't we all just get along?"
16:39:43raptorhaha
16:39:49raptorok, found a mysql tuner script...
16:40:02raptorgoing to try to reduce mysql memory usage a little
16:44:51raptorneat output: http://pastie.org/private/4sqmh5ztu3uulfzymmutg
16:46:49raptori'm going to optimize the tables..
17:03:29raptoractually, a lot of our woes might be because our VPS is based on openVZ instead of XEN (which was the old one)

20:04:12Watusimotoexcellent
20:05:29Watusimotothanks for doing all that
20:06:09raptorstill need to figure out how to reduce more RAM usage - rewriting BFLogBot in python would be one...

20:42:06raptorwow!
20:43:07Watusimotoso the basic strategy was to move the chat code to be a helper
20:43:11Watusimotolike engineerHelper
20:43:16Watusimotoas it was once upon a time
20:43:24raptorgreat!
20:43:31Watusimotoand now instead of one active helper, we have a stack of them
20:43:35raptorah
20:43:40Watusimotoso you can have multile helper active
20:43:44Watusimotolike engineer and chat
20:43:57Watusimotoso you can chat while you are engineering!
20:44:14raptoryay!
20:44:38Watusimotowe could also allow chatting while loadouting but that's disbaled for the moment
20:44:51raptorthat would be interesting...

20:45:05Watusimotoor while quickchatting, if you want interesting
20:45:06raptordid you add a new class?

20:46:15raptorthat's a big refactor!
20:46:19Watusimotoyes!
20:46:23Watusimotoa couple actually

20:47:05Watusimotochathelper.cpp and chatcommands.cpp
20:47:21Watusimotoalso cleared a lot of stuff out of uigame
20:47:41Watusimotothough it's still way too big
20:48:58WatusimotoI do want to revisit the lua fiasco, but maybe I'll take a gander at the buglist first
20:49:37raptorok
20:51:13Watusimotoglad I refreshed that page... lots got done since I last loaded it
20:51:35raptorok, so namespace
20:51:42raptorChatCommands is outside of Zap?
20:53:16Watusimotoit is, but I wasn't really sure what to do with that
20:53:24raptorok, i'll leave it..
20:53:42Watusimotoif you can come up with a better design, I'd be happy with that
20:54:04Watusimotothere's lots of random functions there that were in the global namespace, and didn't really need ot be
20:54:30WatusimotoI guess the alternative might be to give them all names starting with chatCmd or something
20:54:47Watusimotoor pack them into a static class
20:55:12Watusimotobut this also gives us an excuse to move the code out of UIGame
20:55:21Watusimotowhich is already overwhelming enougth
20:56:12raptoryeah it's enormous
20:56:24raptori'm apprehensive every time i open that class
20:58:01WatusimotoI'm going to add a way to show item ids in the editor
20:58:06raptoroK
20:58:13raptori'm about to commit compile fixes..
20:58:19raptori haven't done testing yet..
20:58:21WatusimotoI'm thinking either a toggle on/off, or something like tab that displays them while the key is down
20:58:43raptorwhat about just showing the ID when the object is selected?
20:58:46Watusimotowhat do you think would work well?
20:58:49raptormaybe near the attributes?
20:58:52Watusimotothat would work
20:59:09WatusimotoI could put it in the UR corner of the green box
20:59:19Watusimotothat space is usally empty
20:59:41Watusimotoyou can see them in game, btw, with /showids or something
20:59:58Watusimotothough the numbers often collide and are hard to read
21:00:01BFLogBot Commit: 5724b4e97da5 | Author: buckyballreaction | Message: Add new classes to CMake
21:00:02BFLogBot Commit: 27c7bbeeda6b | Author: buckyballreaction | Message: Fix compile warning
21:00:05raptorok
21:00:10raptorthat seems ok
21:00:27WatusimotoI'll start by showing the id when selected and see how that works
21:09:23raptorwell the chat-during-engineer bug is fixed!
21:09:28raptorno other anomalies so far...
21:09:49raptorWatusimoto: you didn't have to change any RPC did you?
21:09:57Watusimotono
21:10:08Watusimotoall client side
21:10:16Watusimotogood!
21:10:20raptorbecause that was a big refactor and i don't feel like reading it all... :)
21:10:34Watusimotowell, I gave you the highlights
21:12:06raptorok, first merge was OK..

22:17:27raptorwell...
22:17:32Little_Applewell?
22:17:47raptorbfdrupal_comments table is 424 MB large
22:18:01Little_Applewhaa?
22:18:18raptoryeah, with 109,221 rows
22:18:28raptorthat's a lot of comments that weren't deleted...
22:18:49raptorWatusimoto: are you OK with me purging the entire comments table for drupal?
22:35:18Little_Appleraptor: what exactly are levelgens able to add into a level mid-game?
22:35:26raptorno comment...
22:35:31raptorbasically anything
22:35:35raptoralmost everything
22:35:39raptornot walls
22:35:43raptornot other ships
22:35:47raptorbut probably anything else

22:45:15raptor109000 comments flushed!
22:47:44Little_Appleawesome
22:47:58Little_Applecan levelgens create teleporters?
22:48:08raptorhmm, i think so yes
22:48:10raptorhaven't tried
22:48:52Little_Appleso.. on the link you sent me
22:49:01Little_Applewheres the part that tells stupid people to do cool stuff?
22:50:18raptoryeah thats... not well written yet
22:50:25raptorwe mostly just have the specifications up
22:50:29raptorbut examples are lacking
22:50:38Little_Appleah ok
22:50:43raptori can give you an example script..
22:50:55Little_Applei can look through other people's scripts and steal bits of code...
22:51:47Little_Appleoh! idea!
22:52:27raptorwait, my scripts are horrid
22:52:28Little_Appleis it possible to make it so uploading/downloading levels that use a levelgen downloads the levelgen automatically with the level file?
22:52:41raptorwith complex math to make it evil
22:54:08raptorumm
22:54:12raptorwe haven't worked that out yet
22:54:52Little_Appleim guessing you have already thought of that feature :P
22:55:05raptoryeah.. it's on the TODO list i think
22:56:09Little_Appleok
22:56:14Little_Applejust checkin
22:57:35Little_Appleill be back for help once this level doesnt look so bad it creates a new form of cancer
22:58:58raptorhaha ok
23:04:09raptorok, i just remove 1.2 million access log rows
23:04:15raptorfrom the drupal table
23:04:47raptorLittle_Apple: you know about adding IDs to things in the editor?
23:05:06Little_Applei did at one point
23:05:26Little_Applebut i forgot as i forget most things that dont pound me in the face everyday
23:05:36raptorhah

23:09:07kaenthe web console is painfully slow...
23:10:03Little_Applewhy does this bug still exist?
23:10:20kaenwhich?
23:10:32raptor?
23:11:01Little_Applehold on... uploading a screen cap
23:11:54Little_Applewhenever you place a core and then move it in editor you get this weird bug when you hold tab http://i.imgur.com/tIo7MmP.png
23:12:03Little_Appleignore the ridiculous buzz lightyear space ships
23:12:19kaenhmm. need to put an init.d line for the servers.
23:12:30kaenapparently my host restarts my vps often :<
23:16:17Little_Appleraptor: apparently the core bug only happens when you rotate it
23:16:35raptoroh haha
23:16:37raptoryeah that's fixed
23:16:51raptoroh wait
23:16:59raptorwhen you rotate? hmm... might be new..
23:17:00raptortesting
23:17:12Little_Applei think its left overs from the previous bug
23:17:30raptorkaen: use cront @reboot
23:17:33raptor*cron
23:18:31raptorLittle_Apple: you found a bug! thanks!

23:27:05Little_Applehuh. so you cant make neutral cores in editor.
23:27:13raptornope
23:27:24Little_Appleis that on purpose?
23:27:26raptorthat was intentionally removed, although i don't remember the reasoning

23:44:19raptor?
23:44:35raptoroh, i bet i know
23:44:44raptorput down a zone, make it neutral, put down a core
23:45:07Little_Applejust have the tool bar set to neutral and drag in a core lol
23:47:05Little_Applehow do you give cores an id again?
23:47:13Little_Appleer
23:47:14Little_Applezones
23:48:31raptordo you have a development build?

23:50:30raptoryou be a beta tester for 018a AND build your level with the new features :)
23:50:33Little_Appletill i actually have some better ideas
23:50:56Little_Applewill the 018a build be compatible with 018 servers?
23:51:00raptoryes
23:51:07Little_Appleok then
23:51:12raptorwait wait
23:51:21Little_Applei dont have xcode on this computer soooo........
