Bitfighter 019c released!

This is mostly a bugfix release.

Noticeable changes:
  • Vertex-edit mode in the editor. Press 'insert' to turn off vertices in the editor if you want to just move objects.
  • New editor plugin: Polywallify. This correctly transforms barriers to polywalls using the outside edges of the barriers
  • Lua-related hard crashes should be all fixed now
Just in time for the BBB!

Re: Bitfighter 019c released!

polywallify doens't work on some walls.
these include (not a 100% certainty):
walls with two points
walls where the last point is the same as the first point
the walls on the left and right side in the soccer map

Im pretty sure it wasn't my editing the script that broke it, because i undid most of what I did (except for trying to change hotkey)

how do I edit the hotkey? I want to have it be Enter

Play my new level! Two different teams fight over a nexus: One mainly defends while the other attacks! is fun

ENTER is a reserved key for bringing up the item attributes.

Any possibility of changing this? There is no insert key on most (if not all) Mac keyboards. There appear to be some primitive workarounds on Macs with extended keyboards (numpad), but nothing at all on Mac laptops.

Yesssss

I had the same problem here. If the barrier forms a closed shape, the plugin fails. If the start and end of the barrier is even one vertex off, it converts to polywall. Not a big deal but worth mentioning
