Re: Big Bitfighter Battle XI Results

Here are the playback files! Some are quite large (e.g. Lamp's Flag Dungeon).

Download the playback file you want and extract it into the 'record' directory in your Bitfighter preferences folder. (Create the directory if it doesn't exist.)

These are 7zip compressed to save size. If you can't extract them, install 7-zip

So close! I knew I'd be top three though :D
Raptor, what happened to the special map I made just for you??
Also, I feel like if Mexigo would have played the whole time, he would have won. He was REALLY good!

Re: Big Bitfighter Battle XI Results

Oh man... I don't know why, but that map wasn't on my final list and I was scrambling to get them ordered properly. I thought it was on the final list though, so it may have fallen subject to copy/paste error.

The following maps were intended to be played but were skipped due to various issues, all of which were my fault:
Core - Inca (levelgen) - Quartz
CTF - Rack City - Quartz
Nexus - Bag of Cats - Quartz
Retrieve - IA (levelgen) - raptor
Retrieve - Cavity Search - Quartz
ZoneControl - Cretaceous Composure - Skybax
Maybe we should do a BBB follow-up just so we can play these?

thanks for the records! it's nice to see how the BBB went, I had work at the time.
Play my new level! Two different teams fight over a nexus: One mainly defends while the other attacks! is fun

I think the highlights of this BBB, for me, were:
1. thread's eye catching everyone off guard
2. Join Map Project

This was fun! Didn't play for long but I enjoyed it. Thanks for hosting and let's do it again sometime!

Yeah, we played the map fine for several minutes until a bunch of bots were randomly added.

I will freely admit I cheated the map regardless. I am glad it was disqualified. Whoever added the bots though needs to grow up.

It is possible to grab the flag and just graze the zone, scoring a point and resetting the flag, without going through the speed zones. I did this several times.

I didn't realize the DnD maps were played. Boy they must've been brought in late. Too bad I missed out on that.

Guys

I added the bots because nobody was taking the map seriously anyway.

Also that's how FBZ-86 does his maps. Just adds 50 bots.

I can confirm this.

These are actually kind of fun, if you make it into a kind of challenge. Fighting through waves of bots can be pretty difficult.

It's probably cause of the team games. If your team wins it counts as a win for you.
