Doesn't Bitfighter run all the individual servers through a master server? Could an admin potentially IP-ban a user from the master server, who thus wouldn't be able to connect to any individual server?

sky_lark wrote:Opti, what you're asking for is kind of extreme. You're asking for extensive moderation of the community that will put more stress on the admins to develop an effective system and on the players to worry about staying within boundaries.
Look, what happened to you is unfortunate. But it's also an isolated incident. The vast majority of the Bitfighter community are good people. Instead of spending hours implementing a monitoring system that will likely only have value in a couple of situations, let's just encourage users to report troublemakers by sending a PM to admins and bobdaduck.

We could ban someones username, but they could just play under a guest account name. We could ban by IP, but its actually rather easy to change your IP address. Honestly, what do you expect us to do other then say "Hey guys, please be nice... Please?" Because we pretty much already do that.

The... what? I didn't realize we had players who stooped so low to send offensive PMs instead of making their complaints known to an admin. Why haven't you reported them?
