snapping for poly walls

ok i was just editing a level and i noticed that poly walls wont snap to the side or corner of a normal wall in the manner that goals and loadout zones do. is this a bug or an intentional feature? it would be nice if they acted the same way.

Re: snapping for poly walls

I do it by putting goalzones/loadout zones where I want to put the polywall and then ... you get the drift

Good to hear it's being added now though! (:

Re: snapping for poly walls

I don't think that's a bug.

Zones snap to the sides of walls as opposed to the vertices themselves because it looks more appealing that way. If a zone snapped to a vertice shared by a wall, it would overlap the wall. By snapping to the edge of the wall it fits more nicely.

This isn't necessary for walls because a wall overlapping a wall just looks like one big wall.

Lol. The more tools the better, sky. I can definitely see this being useful from time to time.

Re: snapping for poly walls

Fair enough, but let's not get rid of the alignment function entirely due to an incorrect perception of it being a glitch.
