PAINTBRUSH!!!

How bout a paintbrush? It is a tool where you can draw walls instead of using lines. You choose the width of the wall before you paint so it's easier to make details.

This.

Although I get the paintbrush idea ... it would be ridiculously difficult to program, I would think. Maybe I'm wrong. *Shrugs*

Re: PAINTBRUSH!!!

I think lamp's suggestion is to allow for easier creation of walls. The current system, while likely fine for all of us, is admittedly counter-intuitive to new users -- building a wall vertex by vertex is kind of funky.

I don't personally care one way or another.

Please refrain from using words like 'new' and 'better' unless you actually describe some ideas.

YOU CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Use the application Inkscape to make svg images, and then use the svg converter to make the image a level

[s]FIRST OF ALL INKSCAPE DONT WORK.[/s]
nvm Inkscpe works now I found out where is X11, it's called XQuartz and it's in the Utilities folder.

SECOND OF ALL YOU CAN'T SEE IT DRWAN REAL-TIME IN THE EDITOR AND ALSO THE CONVERTER MIGHT SCREW IT UP.

Why draw in an external editor with risks of failure when you can draw in the editor and make things quickly?

Re: PAINTBRUSH!!!

Inkscape might make sense because it has more tools available for detailed drawing than Bitfighter ever will.

We have been having talks on and off for a long time looking for ways to better integrate SVGs from Inkscape into the editor, but so far have not found a good solution.

What about... drum roll..... a Bitfighter plug-in for inkscape? I've a few games using a plug-in which can save in ".level", for example. With the plug-in, you could add flags, turrets...
