Dungeon speedruns

Would anyone be interested in doing a couple of dungeon speedruns? Like, we could get a group together, set a time/date, then try to beat various dungeons as fast as possible. Bitfighter Stats page would record our times. Maybe someone could even record and we could create a sped-up video of our achievement.

Since most dungeons are quite extensive we could do 1-2 maps per session, then play regular Bitfighter for a while afterward. One session per 1-2 weeks should be sufficient to keep us entertained for a while. I think it'd be fun!

Let me know if you're interested. Don't worry about availability or servers or maps just yet. The sole purpose of this thread is to gauge interest.

Thanks!

If all the dungeons weren't broken, I might be interested.

As it is, the only stuff that's left pretty much sucks.

I like Quartz' Super Fast Mini Dungeon, which is pretty much perfect for this as well. I probably have a couple other decent ones that still work as well, but idk. Lolz

I like the idea. But we do need more material, it's true.

Re: Dungeon speedruns

I'm sure we can find some Bitighter-ready, quality maps to play on. If there's enough interest in this I'll open up another thread for people to nominate in.

I have about 42 dungeons. 34 of these 42 are in a folder called "broken dungeons." I think you'd be surprised how many aren't Bitfighter-ready.

That said yes, why not have some nominations.

This means that 8 are supposedly ready. Unless we power through them all in one night I'm sure that could last us a good month or six weeks. Honestly, I'm not expecting this thing to go on forever so if we could get good numbers for 4 or 5 sessions over the course of a month I'd be pretty content.
