Level size limit

Is it 50kb? When I reach that everything starts acting up. New objects stop appearing, the screen stays blank for the entire map no matter what, etc.

Re: Level size limit

_k made a level that was 900K once. It would take a REALLY long time to load in the editor, and even longer when playing in-game (about 2 min.), but it wouldn't exhibit the symptoms you mentioned.

There is a network object limit for how many (movable?) objects are viewable at once in the client's viewport; this is 1024, I think.

sam686 and watusimoto can correct me if I'm wrong..

Re: Level size limit

It is not the file size limit. There is some other limits.

Maximum number of SpeedZone, GoalZone, LoadoutZone, Nexus, LineItem, TextItem, Teleporters, and maybe other objects is limited to smaller then 1024 objects. That is the limit in GhostConnection.

Barriers and PolyWall don't count as walls don't use GhostConnection.
ResourceItem, TestItem, Mines, bullets, turrets, and NexusFlag mostly don't count because it isn't something that must stay visible in commander map.

Re: Level size limit
