Bitfighter Party Sat 3/11 at 8:30pm ET

Hey all,

We seem to be on a consistent schedule of bi-weekly parties which means another opportunity to blast some bits this Saturday, March 11th at 8:30pm Eastern! That is 5:30pm Pacific, 6:30pm Mountain, 7:30pm Central.

If raptor is willing to host I will set up another playlist, this time taking a bit more time to check the maps more closely. Feel free to comment with any map suggestions. If you want to make a map for this contest, definitely do so and just pm me it and I'll make sure it's featured a couple times in the playlist!

To get a reminder...

Facebook: Go to https://www.facebook.com/playbitfighter/ then under the arrow next to "Following" choose notifications On. For your phone, do the same thing but tap on the Following button itself and make sure Get Notifications is enabled, then under Edit Notifications Settings, All Posts is checked.

Twitter: First open your sidebar, then go to Settings and Privacy. Choose Notifications, then Push Notifications, then Tweets, then turn on. Now go to @playbitfighter on your phone, then hit the alarm bell icon next to the follow icon. Turn on Account Notifications and choose All Tweets. We don't tweet very often, just when there's something big going on usually!


We will be posting there and on twitter plenty!

Thanks for playing everyone! We had good numbers, they were just spread out over the course of the night. Shoutout to raptor for his quick response to host a great server. And to Atomic, a new face I haven't seen around here often but learned the ropes very quickly!

Keep an eye out on the Facebook and Twitter, as well as this forum, for more parties in the future! See my signature for links. I think we'll stick with the bi-weekly Saturday games, but also try to get a midweek weekly party going to keep the games churning.

Once we start getting consistent, quality games (don't need to be anything crazy, 4v4 is plenty fun!) then look out for info about Sky_lark's Spring Fling Level Design Contest! It'll be super fun with awesome prizes, but need to get the parties rolling first! Thanks again everyone and see y'all soon.

One of the records was 570 MB! (The Battle of the Death Star) That's nuts. I must see this level...

That would be great, raptor! I was actually trying to figure out how to get these myself. Are they hosted on the server? Can I download them all at once through the game interface or would it be easier for you to zip them to google drive etc?

There is no interface to download them. They just sit in the 'record' directory for the party server. They are about 714MB. I can zip them up.

Are you sure you want all of them? I can remove the death star one and save 80% of the size.

Yes, all of them would be great if doable. I can see if I can give you permissions to host on my google drive if needed (got like 50 gb). That round wasn't terribly exciting, but I've learned over the years to err on the side of preserving as much as possible!
