All jokes aside, does any have an argument for why Airlock shouldn't be a stock map?
- It's a unique concept that utilizes asteroids well.
- It challenges players to balance playing inside of the airlock - where danger is - with playing outside of the airlock - where more danger is.
- It challenges players to think creatively about which weapons and modules to use to exploit the constantly-spawning crowd of enemies.
edit: - It brings out the crazy side of Bitfighter, which is a good thing!

Sorry, Airlock will not be a standard map. It fits none of the criteria (simple, elegant, attractive). It will remain, however, something to bring out at the end of the party, after the tequila is finished.

It's fairly simple but as far as elegant and attractive goes, yeah I can agree with that. xD

Part of the reason why I liked Airlock was it incorporated some themes of space and ships. Maybe if Airlock is too "unattractive," we can design some space-themed maps? I would love to see Bitfighter grasp its iconic background more. (Level contest, hint hint!)
