Blinding Snow

Actually, no.

Colliseum. I've always enjoyed hunters.

Hmm... I think it is actually Tin Man's Reprise [Hunters] for me. Non-symmetrical map is cool.

Re: Favorite Stock Map?

I feel like the gameplay in tin man gets repetitive pretty quickly...everything gravitates toward the east side of the map: from the exit point of that teleporter, to the repairitem just to the south of it, and along the path back to the nexus from there.

Colosseum is less repetitive and I like the nexus area. But - I can never get the teleport paths into my head and it feels too big with a smaller number of players...I suppose that's true for a lot of the stock maps, though.

Re: Favorite Stock Map?

Not to necro a dead topic- but I don't really like either of the Hunter maps- I don't really like Hunters (Nexus I guess) in general, though with the new interest in team nexus, and the dropping feature, things might get more interesting.

My favorite stock map is CTF1, "Kompressor's Gambit". Although the Teleporters are kind of sketchy (I can't really decide if I would like them to go away or not), I think the rest of the map is just about perfect.
BAM! I'm back.

Re: Favorite Stock Map?

boy, when i played hunters in the colosseum with 30 other friends on LAN, DANG it was fun.

that map was ment for ALOT of players. if we get alot of players or bots in that level playing, the new joiners will absolutely stay after that game

Playing Kompressors Gambit with 20-30 other people over the internet a year or three ago was pretty awesome.

I'll be honest. I am insanely jealous. And slightly suspicious.

Re: Favorite Stock Map?

I was [Guest] x
then later in, Q23125, as the loadout module

when i played the lan parties, id sit in the nexus, and shoot all my friends as they tried to retrieve their flags
one of my best friends would always host it, and when I did it, he'd get pissed and boot me from the server. Then id complain i lost all my points and he would loose his playing time. Yep, were all happy in the end.

My favorite stock level is Triple threat (RET) it was the first level that I played when I first played Zap.

The bottom statement is false.
This statement appears to be paradoxical, but actually isn't.
The top statement is true.

Re: Favorite Stock Map?

Hat Trick was my first map, and as a result I think I've always had a soft spot for Soccer. Same kind of thing as that slightly-slow kid in your kindergarten class that thought he was a lizard-- when you think of him, it's fond thoughts, but to be honest you'd rather spend time doing something else.

Yeah... huge games do seem to make an impression on people... Anybody remember "zap parties"?
BAM! I'm back.

Re: Favorite Stock Map?

I have to say, whatever map01 on the new 016 server has that new core gametype. Though, consider changing it to something like "siege". Core seems too plain and bland.
