Maybe why I've quit Bitfighter

So this marks the release of 19 and it being around for a year without an release 20 update. I am shocked on how there's no more monthly updates.

There will be a 019d update soon, and then it'll be 020. Right now, there are only about 2 active developers (watusimoto and raptor), so it is a little slower then usual

This game has always had its hiccups in progress. If you're in for the long haul, you'd best get used to it. There's nothing wrong with picking up the game for a few weeks, dropping it until you miss it, rinse and repeat. That's what I do, and nobody seems to think less of me for it; that I know of anyway. xD

Zapgamer, we are always looking for help with development. You are welcome to join us in the IRC channel in #bitfighter if you have some programming skills and would like to help.

Without meaning to sound like a jerk, what are you holding out for? Updates are definitely nice but on the other side of the coin, the game is certainly playable and enjoyable in its current form. Pop in sometime at our weekly parties, we'd love to have you. Right now the best thing that can happen to Bitfighter is activity. With more activity comes more motivation for development as well as brings in new developers able to help!

Maybe I will look into helping I recently picked up a copy of C++ for dummies.

C++ isn't that bad

If i were less busy, I'd probably would like to help out, but I'm kinda busy between marble blast and my own things

This. It's had far worse fluctuations, believe me. I seem to recall bobdaduck and I thinking the game was dead for good at one point -- back when it was still Zap!, of course.

maybe if all the MB and bitfighters come together we will have more players overall!

then again maybe thats a pipe dream.
