Levelmaking Contest - BLITZ
Make the most of your time, join the new Levelmaking contest! The theme is: BLITZ
CONTEST RULES
- Levels must be ONE MINUTE long (or less!)
- You can submit as many levels as you want.
- Novelty maps are ok, but all maps should be playable and competitive in some sense.
- Maps are anonymous, do not upload them to pleaides
- Send your maps to me either through forum private message or through a discord direct message.
- SUBMISSION DEADLINE: MAY 31ST
- CONTEST SERVER PARTY: Expected, MONDAY, JUNE 1ST, 8pm EST
- VOTING BEGINS: MONDAY, JUNE 1ST
PRIZES
$10 Amazon gift card to the winner!
$5 Amazon gift card to second and third place!
REMEMBER
- How well does your level scale with more players?
- A well managed score-to-win could make the difference
- Maps will be judged primarily on GAMEPLAY, which is the challenging part of the contest theme.
- Forcefields take about 3 seconds for an accurate player to kill.
- A ship can travel about 16 10x10 editor squares in 10 seconds without turbo, so a non-turbo ship could make a maximum of 6 round trips on a 8x1 map in one minute, and that's /without/ fighting distractions. For reference, that's about this big:
- Maps do not need to be small, but time management will be essential
GOOD LUCK
