Bitfighter getting hacked? Or intentional advertising?

Every now and then a word on this website is highlighted. Wehn I move my mouse over them it shows an ad. Is this intentional? Or is there something up?

Opti, it sounds like your browser has an unwanted 'plugin' installed...

Re: Bitfighter getting hacked? Or intentional advertising?

I feel your pain: While it's not quite the same thing, Firefox has somehow prevented me from accessing Google.com. I can visit Gmail and Youtube, but I'm locked out of Google. Looks like I'm stuck with Bing... :(

It is not in the Bitfighter website itself, but some website likes to put advertisement (ad) that can sometimes look like links. In most cases, having ad block or hosts file blocking ad sites makes many advertisements go away.

Try disabling ALL plugins in your web browser or use different web browser. A web browser without plugins should still work for nearly all websites.

Happened to me too! Well nearly.... in my browser, I couldn't get OUT of Google! When I searched or tried to go to a web site, it always said that Google couldn't find the page bla bal bla
