17:45:16watusimotothe deepest, darkest, dankest, hottest portion of hell
17:45:24raptorsingle quotes are the savior
17:45:39watusimotoyou might think that
17:45:49watusimotobut not in this case... 's mean something special in sql
17:46:11raptorunless, of course, you're using one language to write another...
17:46:12watusimotoso you have to be very careful where you use them
17:46:35watusimotoI'm writing python to run sql, and trying to test it from the interactive shell via ssh
17:46:52watusimotoI see one thing, but really don't know who inserted what \
17:47:01raptorha!
17:47:07watusimotothey just appear and disappear arbitrarily
17:47:11watusimotoI insert 1 and two appear
17:47:21raptorstruggling with tuples?
17:47:21watusimotocan I copy the resulting sql and test it?
17:47:23watusimotowho knows?
17:47:51watusimotoit is very hard to see what a variable actually contains, and how psycodb will interpret it
17:48:07watusimotowell, enough bitching, if I want to get out of here, I need to make this work

18:32:08raptorbut you can set it up how you want by following the instructions in joystick_presets.ini
18:35:39watusimotoprinted out about 50 of these, unfortunately most the size of a large stamp (thanks, gimp!), but still readable... will do some guerilla marketing at fosdem

18:44:16kaenI'm not sure about scissor vs clip... scissor is meant to be a more specific and beginner-friendly clip
18:57:00raptorkaen: you think all of those would be good?
18:57:20raptornot just the top 2
19:19:38raptoroh interesting
19:19:51raptorgit *requires* you 'add' a changed file...
19:21:18kaenI usually just do git commit -a

19:24:08raptormy change possibly removed the need for th invert.lua plugin...
19:24:40kaenoh, cool :)
19:26:31kaenI really like how this turned out: http://bitfighter.org/new-stats/index.html#/game_times
19:26:47raptorWOW
19:26:50raptorthat's great!
19:26:52kaenIt even converts the server times to your local timezone :)
19:27:26raptorit may be good to show server timezone, just in case
19:27:33raptorsorry local timezone
19:27:42raptoralso, is this all-time times?
19:27:52raptori mean, addition of all games at that time?
19:28:01raptoror just over the course of the last year?
19:28:01kaenyes, for now
19:28:07raptorok cool
19:28:12kaenthere will be a select box to choose the period
19:28:27raptornow that is a sweet graph..
19:28:29kaenI just did all-time so I could see the true form of the data
19:28:39kaenhopefully I can bring the others up to par :P
19:31:38raptori could probably merge your filter plugin with my 'select' plugin already in the repo
19:32:04raptormine does it on all objects - i could add a 'global' option to your filter plugin

19:36:47kaenI think that's a good idea
19:37:00raptorok, you didn't merge my pull request yet, did you?
19:37:07raptorI will attempt to retract it..
19:37:15raptoradd that change, then create
19:41:25raptorah, closed it

22:45:26fordcarsHi
22:46:03raptorhi
22:46:05YoshiSmbhi ford!
22:46:39fordcarsraptor, cmake worked great! The problem is now Visual Studio saying bitfighter, bitfighterd, master, test and ZERO_CHECK are incompatible. I'll try to make it work. Weird thing is, gtest, gtest_main, lua-vec etc are fine!
22:46:47fordcarsHi!
22:46:55raptorare you compiling win32?
22:47:01fordcarsOh
22:47:05fordcarsSOrry
22:47:13fordcars*Sorry, I forgot to change that
22:47:16raptor:)
22:47:30raptorit's just a simple dropdown cmake menu isn't it?
22:47:36raptorsorry, not cmake - vs
22:47:50fordcarsAw
22:48:30fordcarsWell, I checked out Solution PLatform, it is win32
22:49:50raptorwhat does that mean? they subprojects didn't load?
22:50:43fordcarsOh
22:51:13fordcarsNo, they show up in the Solution thingny, but they have (incompatible) next to them and I can't check out any source files etc
22:51:36fordcarsMicrosoft seems to be saying I need Visaul Studio 2012 for c++ projects
22:51:37raptorwhich cmake generator did you use? 11?
22:51:40fordcars12
22:51:44raptorok
22:51:56raptorohhhh... haha - you may have the wrong IDE
22:52:07raptorI think the removed c++ in 2013

22:53:17raptorbut you need to make sure to download the right one
22:53:36fordcarsI downloaded the VSExpress with Windows 8 sdk
22:54:16raptorwell, i have no idea why it isn't compatible - unless there's something you need to enable
22:54:16fordcarsWhat is the difference between Visual Studio Express for Desktop and Visual Studio Express?
22:54:32fordcarsMaybe, I didn't find anything on Google though
22:54:33raptori have no idea
22:56:11Flynnn Quit (Client Quit)
22:56:17fordcarsA comparison between the different Visual Studio Express editions can be found at Visual Studio Express . The difference between Windows and Windows Desktop is that with the Windows edition you can build Windows Store Apps (using .NET, WPF/XAML) while the Windows Desktop edition allows you to write classic Windows Desktop applications. It is possible to install both products on the same machine.
22:56:33fordcarsI think I got the Windows one
22:56:36fordcarsWhat a pain!
22:56:38raptorahhh
22:56:40raptorfun!
22:57:10raptorthey should have done it like everyone else: Windows and Windows for Mobile

23:25:30fordcarsBut, when the players switch in my script, the client somehow doesn't know until they move
23:26:00raptoryeah... that's still the same, thought, right?
23:26:04raptor*though
23:26:32fordcarsIt wan't doing that in 019, but man this is weird
23:26:37fordcarsI think it is because it is a bot
23:26:51fordcarsYeah, the client might know normally
23:27:00fordcarsNow I can't even kill the bot in bitmatch
23:27:09fordcarsDo you want to see?
23:27:28raptornot at the moment - it makes sense though
23:27:36raptor019 was worse
23:28:00raptoryou can open a bug if you think it is legitimate (with a test case, too, please)
23:28:12fordcarsOk, yeah, I got the bot to come back to life
